10 Things You Might Not Know About Boston

Boston was formed in the mid 1970s in Boston, Massachusetts. The original lineup consisted of Tom Scholz, vocalist Brad Delp, guitarist Barry Goudreau, bassist Fran Sheehan, and drummer Sib Hashian. The band achieved its most notable successes during the 1970s and 1980s and is a staple of classic rock radio playlists. Boston’s best-known works include the songs “More Than a Feeling,” “Peace of Mind,” “Foreplay/Long Time,” “Rock and Roll Band,” “Smokin’,” “Don’t Look Back,” and “Amanda.” The band has sold over 30 million albums in the U.S., of which over 17 million were for its self-titled debut album and seven million were for its second album, Don’t Look Back. Altogether, the band has released six studio albums and still continues to perform today.
