Meat Loaf files lawsuit against hotel blaming them for negligence

Meat Loaf is suing the hotel at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport and event organizers for injuries sustained on May 4th, while appearing at a horror movie convention called the “Texas Fightmare Weekend.”

According to The Associated Press, on January 13th, Meat and his his wife Deborah Lee Gillespie Aday filed suit in a state district court in Fort Worth, Texas, against the Hyatt Corp. and Texas Frightmare Weekend LLC.

Meat is blaming them for negligence for his fall, claiming “severe neck, collarbone, and shoulder injuries that have prevented him from performing since.”

According to the legal filing, Meat Loaf “spent 42 days hospitalized after the fall (which) required him to undergo physical therapy.”
