Name: Ted Theis
From: O’Fallon, MO
Occupation: Owner of Thadco Construction
About Ted:
Ted started listening to KSHE during his senior year of high school, back in 1979.
No other station comes close to pumping Ted up with great classic rock that has passed the test of time. Ted’s kids also listen to KSHE and appreciate the talent of the musicians, the songs that really mean something, and that you can understand the words.
Ted loves the KSHE Morning Rock Show. He says, “what Jack Buck and Stan the Man are to Cardinals baseball is what the U-Man is to St. Louis and KSHE. There will never be another like him.”
Ted has been blessed with a beautiful wife that’s a Christie Brinkley lookalike. He thinks she should be the first KSHE Kougar.
Ted has a son, Trevor, whose initials are TNT because Ted is a huge AC/DC fan. Ted also has a daughter, Lexi. Ted and Lexi have matching tattoos that say “Living easy, living free” from AC/DC’s “Highway To Hell”.
A couple years ago, Ted and Lexi drove to Kansas City to see AC/DC only to find out that the concert had been moved up one day. They missed the show and were out $700. They ended up getting to see them with Axl Rose a few months later in Columbus, Ohio.
KSHE songs that get Ted through the day:
AC/DC – Highway To Hell, T.N.T., Big Balls, Rock And Roll Ain’t Noise Pollution; Montrose – Bad Motor Scooter, Rock Candy; Guns N’ Roses – Sweet Child O’ Mine
Congratulations to Ted Theis from O’Fallon, MO, our “Listener of the Day”!
