Name: Richie Bryan
From: St. Louis, MO
Works at: D&T Painting. No need to mention us. We’re busy enough and we’re all either old or fat and don’t want the extra work. (You can mention that)
About Richie:
Richie was born into listening to KSHE in 1972 and has been a fan his entire life!
Richie listens to KSHE every day at work from 7am to 3pm, Monday – Friday!
Richie loves Lern’s laugh … says he wasn’t a fan at first, but it has grown on him!
Richie says that when the commercial says to say out loud, “I’m the KSHE Listener of the Day,” my boss’s tells him to shut up!
Richie says that in 1978, he called the KSHE request line and requested “Hot Blooded” by Rod Stewart, whomever it was on the phone argued with him that it wasn’t Rod Stewart. He says you don’t argue with a 6 year old. You say ‘OK’ and play the song. He bring this up because he’s curious if it was John Ulett. He seems like he’d argue with a 6 year old!
KSHE songs that get Richie through the day:
You Can’t Kill Rock and Roll – Ozzy Osbourne, Burning Down The House – Talking Heads, Hot Blooded – Foreigner, 2112 – Rush, Stranglehold – Ted Nugent, Why Go – Pearl Jam, Fade To Black – Metallica, Blue on Black – Kenny Wayne Shepherd, New Beginning – Stir, Dream On – Aerosmith
Congratulations to Richie Bryan from St. Louis, MO, our “Listener of the Day”!
