About Reed:
Reed started listening to KSHE at the age of 16, when he got his driver’s license and would drive around by himself blasting KSHE.
Since he’s stationed in Texas, Reed now streams KSHE via the web and says KSHE helps him get through the duty day and provides him with something to look forward to every evening.
Reed says he doesn’t know what he’d do without good classic rock and KSHE.
Reed loves the KSHE tradition of playing Arlo Guthrie’s “Alice’s Restaurant” on Thanksgiving. His family has gathered around the radio to listen to it every year for as long as he can remember. They have a rule that nobody is allowed to talk for the entire duration of the song.
Reed is a big Cardinals fan and he loves to work out.
KSHE songs that get Reed through the day:
Pink Floyd – Another Brick In The Wall; Eric Clapton – Pretending; Lynyrd Skynyrd – That Smell; Robert Plant – In The Mood; Eagles – Peaceful Easy Feeling – Hotel California – Take It Easy; David Lee Roth – Ice Cream Man; Gregg Allman – I’m No Angel; Scorpions – The Zoo
Congratulations to Reed McEwen, our “Listener of the Day”!
