Michael Bowles of St. Louis, MO joined the Real Rock Army today!
Michael says the mix of music KSHE plays from various decades and the Morning Rock Show gets his day off on the right foot
Michael was born and raised in St. Louis. He graduated from Mehlville high in 1984 and joined the U.S. Navy a few years after and retired from the Navy after 28 years of service. He spent 26 of those 28 years overseas in various locations throughout the Pacific. He began as an enlisted Electronics Tech working on maintenance and repair of communications and radar equipment. Then about half way through, he was commissioned as a Naval Officer in the Information Dominance Warfare Force
Michael met his wife of 22 years in Japan and they have three children. His daughter will be graduating from the University of Florida, his middle son has started attending STLCC and their youngest is attending Sperreng Middle
Michael said it was refreshing coming back and finding KSHE still broadcasting the music he has always loved. Even while overseas and even while serving in Afghanistan, KSHE was available via online streaming
Michael is looking forward to getting involved with Boy Scouts now that he is back in the area
Michael is an avid Star Wars fan and enjoys a variety of crafts
