Name: Matt “The Rattlesnake” Lesch
From: High Ridge, MO
About Matt:
Matt started listening to KSHE in 2005 when he was 8 Years old
Matt’s dad introduced him to KSHE and Classic Rock at a young age and he has listened to it ever since. He is thankful that he can still hear some of those songs that inspired him to pick up that six string and start playing
Matt says that from a local musician standpoint, he is glad that KSHE has been around for all these decades and keeps classic songs, songs that inspired him to be a musician, alive and well. Without hearing these songs while he was growing up, he may not have been interested in becoming a musician and making his own songs
Matt is a local Blues / Blues Rock musician (since the age of 14) and plays all over St Louis. You can catch him at Hwy 61 Roadhouse and Kitchen in Webster Groves, as well as other local bars and venues and festivals throughout STL. He has played many times at the National Blues Museum and the Big Muddy Blues Festival in 2017 & 2018
Matt attends Webster University for Jazz Studies and Performance
