About Matt:
Matt’s radio dial has been stuck on KSHE since at least 1977.
Matt’s very first Rock & Roll experience was when his cousin let him listen to Elton John’s “Captain Fantastic” album sometime around 1976. The album cover was the most amazing thing he’d ever seen, and the music was hypnotic. Since then, he’s been addicted to classic rock.
Matt says, “If you want classic rock music in and around St. Louis that actually plays music, with DJs who actually know and enjoy the music they’re playing, without a bunch of hype and fluff, then your only answer is KSHE 95 – Real Rock Radio.”
Matt enjoys listening to KSHE’s good old classic rock, whether it’s working around the house, while driving, at work, or just relaxing on the back porch. He likes the KSHE Morning Rock Show, Vinnie Testosteroni, and the 7th Day.
Matt is a husband and father. He’s married to a great wife who is just as big of a KSHE fan as he is, and his kids are beginning to like KSHE as well.
Matt says, when he dies, he wants to be buried with a radio tuned to KSHE for eternity.
KSHE songs that get Matt through the day:
AC/DC – Have A Drink On Me; Judas Priest – You’ve Got Another Thing Comin’; Van Halen – Everybody Wants Some!!; Rush – Working Man; Led Zeppelin – Over The Hills And Far Away; Pink Floyd – Wish You Were Here; Boston – Rock & Roll Band; Jefferson Airplane – White Rabbit
Congratulations to Matt Kurz from Ellisville, MO, our “Listener of the Day”!
