Ken started listening to KSHE in 1968, 1969. He can remember listening to entire albums at night without a break
Ken says the KSHE Klassics Show has always been a favorite of his
Ken remembers The Side Show, where he first heard Nektar’s Remember the Future and he was so blown away, he went out and bought the album the next day
Ken was in the audience for the last KSHE Kite Flying Contest in Forest Park
Ken first saw REO Speedwagon at the MIssissippi River Festival, due to listening to KSHE
Ken says what he probably likes best about KSHE is, the station is never afraid to stretch the boundaries and enlighten and entertain their audience
Ken can wear one of his KSHE t-shirts or hoodies and get reactions everywhere he goes, because KSHE is known everywhere
Ken and his wife Karen have been married for over 12 years, and they have 7 kids and 10 grandkids between them
Ken’s wife owns her own hair salon in Belleville, and he has worked in IT for over 30 years, the last 7 or so for Ameren
Ken owns a lake house in Southern Illinois and they enjoy their weekend getaways to relax and fish and visit with family and friends
Ken likes to work with wood, do yard work and spend a great deal of time, when not at the lake, going to estate sales in the Greater St. Louis Metropolitan Area
