Works at: John is retired after 35 years from Boilermakers Local 363 in East St Louis where he built and maintained power plants, oil refineries, and steel mills. He would rock out to KSHE at job sites with FOUR radios pumped up! 

John has been a lifetime KSHE listener since 1970. At age 12 his older sister took him to see Grand Funk Railroad. He’s been hooked ever since! John and KSHE share the same birthday – he is just a few years older. To John, KSHE is not just a radio station but also a way of life. SWEETMEAT FOR PRESIDENT!

John likes that KSHE plays the perfect variety of new and classic rock with the BEST DJs! He loves the KSHE Morning Rock Show and that Favazz keeps it rockin’ in the afternoon with his insight on rock n’ roll and interviews – with both rock and sports figures! He never misses the Klassics Show on Sundays and he loves John Ulett. 

John has been married to his soul mate, Kathy for almost 37 years. They have two great kids and three beautiful grandchildren. Now that he is retired he likes to fish and ride his Harley with his wife Kathy, doing custom fab work and rebuilding sportsters and Super Glides – and he’s got KSHE on the WHOLE DAMN TIME!
