Jason Sallee

Name: Jason Sallee

From: Saint Charles, MO

About Jason:

Jason was in the Navy from January 2000 to October 2007. He was a nuclear machinist mate onboard the USS Bremerton SSN-698. It was a fast attack submarine. He was also onboard the USS Emory S. Land, a nuclear repair ship. He was an E-6, 1st Class Petty Officer when he got out. His job, along with all the other nuclear trained personnel, was to ensure the nuclear reactor on the submarine functioned correctly and kept the sub going, and supplied with electricity, air and clean water

Jason says he has KSHE on from 6am – 6pm almost every day. He has been listening for a few years now. He always loved the classics and says listening to music really made his time at sea a lot more bearable

Jason LOVES the 30 second song challenge! He listens to it every day and he is a 3 time winner, hoping for a 4th win soon

Jason thinks the KSHE Morning Rock Show is great (How you doin’ Lern, wink). It’s always a great selection of songs, and almost every day he hears something he had either never heard before, or hasn’t heard in a long time

Jason is married to a beautiful woman, Julie, who blessed him with 3 wonderful children: Lucas 6, Gavin 5, and Brynn 3, who he is already starting to teach the classics to

Jason works for a Mobile Pure Water treatment company, which takes up a lot of his time, but they always have the radio on KSHE at work

Jason’s picture is of himself and Gilby Clarke formerly of Guns N’ Roses. He had him over to the house last January for a few beers while he was in town visiting a mutual friend of theirs
