James was in the Air Force for 13 years … 8 years overseas, 5 in Germany and 3 in Japan
James is a Gulf War Veteran. He was in Saudi Arabia for six months, 1990-1991 and stationed in Germany when the wall came down. While in Saudi Arabia, he ran into a guy wearing a KSHE shirt. He stopped and talked to the guy and it turned out he was from the St. Louis Air National Guard
James grew up in Godfrey, IL listening to KSHE in the 1970s / 1980s
James has lived in 5 states, and traveled to many more, but KSHE is still the best station on earth. He loves that we don’t play a song to death, even when it’s new
James is retired and lives with his wife of 15 years in Baraga, MI, which is in the upper peninsula
