George Wilkerson of Collinsville, IL joined the Real Rock Army today!
George has been listening to KSHE since he was a kid cruising around in his uncle Tony’s 1967 Pontiac GTO convertible. As he grew up, the timeless classics of KSHE became the soundtrack for his life
George’s love for KSHE and great music is shared by his 14 year old son, Owen. At the age of four, Owen heard Kashmir playing on KSHE. He was smiling from ear to ear and asked, “Who sings this dad?” He told him and he said, “Led Zeppelin is my favorite band!” Zeppelin has been his favorite band ever since. Owen started taking guitar lessons at the age of five (loves Jimmy Page), has all of Zeppelin’s albums on vinyl, and they even stood in the front row at The Pageant to see Robert Plant perform last year. Every year, they go see Celebration Day, and they plan to continue that tradition until Jimmy Griffin and the boys get tired of rockin’
George is married to his beautiful wife, Nina
George is a rock n’ roll lovin’, Harley riding, artist, and principal. George is KSHE!
