Dennis has two great kids. When they were little, they always listened to KSHE, especially when going to and from school when he was able to take them. A special time that KSHE made that much better
Dennis was born and raised in Staunton, IL
Dennis still remembers going from AM to FM. He remembers thinking, “sounds like the guy is sitting right next to me and the music fills the room.” It was a WOW moment for him and then KSHE came on the air. He can’t say he remembers listening to White Rabbit that 1st day, but when he started to listen, he loved it and has not stopped since. Well … EXCEPT for the small period when he had to move to Kentucky for his job in 1993. He remembers thinking… “well no KSHE”… but then, thank God for the internet and streaming. It was a great day when he finally heard KSHE again so far away from home
Dennis is an engineer and his job takes him to China a lot so he listens to KSHE online + he has turned his Chinese friends on to the station too
Dennis love to hunt, fish and just be outdoors in general
Dennis has many blood drive t-shirts starting back in the 80s and luckily, was home for the Winter Blood Drive and picked up a KSHE poster for his garage
