Why should you or the person you are nominating be a Real Rock Hero?
I am nominating my father for the Real Rock Hero. He is one of the most genuine and caring men that I know. My favorite memory of him being a hero was during a Cardinals game. There was a home-run hit right next to us, and a little girl was standing in the crossfire of where the ball fell down. Instead of going for the ball, my dad picked up the little girl to get her out of the way into safety. I have always looked up to my dad as someone who never quits, always makes a bad situation into a good one, and someone who will do anything for his family/friends. He is a real HERO.
How do you or the person you are nominating proudly serve? What was your rank / job?
My father is a retired Navy veteran. He served 16 years (1978-1982 active; 1982-1993 reserves) and was an E-6 BM1. During that time, he served on the national defense for Desert Storm the battle E. He completed Tamara Terrian for the evacuation of Lebanon and 4 years of sea time. He received the good conduct medal for good conduct in reserves.
What do you like best about KSHE 95?
The music. He listens to you all day going to work, during work, and on the way home.

Jamie’s Husband – Kaleb Hicks
Work: Hussmann Corporation . He has been working there for over 25 years
Hobbies: spending time with family/friends, concerts, walking, snorkeling, visiting castles and memorial sites, going on vacations, enjoy the Cardinals games, going out to eat, adventures with his family, fishing, and riding his motorcycle
