Darin says growing up in a small rural Southern town in the 80s, he could pick up KSHE on certain nights when the atmosphere was just right. He loved hearing all the killer rock and concert advertisements. He started going to concerts with his older brother when he was 13 years old. He was hooked and he still goes to a show every chance he gets
Darin is a Captain on a riverboat (23 years now) for a company out of New Orleans running through St. Louis quite often, so he’s gone a month and home a month. If he misses a show in St. Louis or Springfield, he travels to the next place and sees his favorites
Darin has over 9000 songs downloaded on his iPhone, so when he rides his RZR or his Motorcycle and doesn’t have service, he always has his tunes
Darin likes that KSHE supports local acts like El Monstero, whom he has seen several times and he says they kill it
Darin is a die-hard Sammy Hagar fan and over the years he’s noticed how he supports St. Louis and has a special place in his heart for KSHE, St. Louis and the Blues … like wearing a Blues jersey at his B-Day Bash in Cabo. Darin is a die-hard Cardinals and Blues fan
Darin likes the fact that KSHE has remained true to classic rock over all these years
Darin and his fiancé have 5 children, 7 grandchildren and 1 more on the way between them
Darin lives in the county outside of a small town about a mile from Ozark National Scenic Riverways … GOD’s Country
Darin’s hobbies include music first and always. He loves live music because nothing touches the soul quite like a killer concert. They travel to concerts several times a year
Darin loves to ride his Polaris RZR as much as he can through the Ozark’s Countryside and rock crawling
