Sam started listening to KSHE in 1982. He was 13-years old and just discovering girls and a few other things. 

Sam was 23 when he joined the Navy. Over the years, the first thing he would do when driving home and nearing St. Louis is start trying to get KSHE on his radio. As soon as he did, he knew he was home.

Now with technology, Sam streams KSHE on his iPhone. He wakes up every morning with the U-Man and Lern. (4am Hawaii time, 8am Central).

Sam loves KSHE’s music and culture. KSHE helps Sam keep that connection to home and friends. He says thank you for the music and keeping it Real Rock Radio! 

Sam plans to retire in 2016 and come home to St. Louis! He has already bought a house in Arnold and can’t wait to be back in his city!
