Bill was an U.S. Navy Chief for 24 years, active duty from 1988 to 2012. He worked on F14 Tomcats, F18 Hornets, and F18 Super Hornets … flight controls and surfaces, hydraulics, and landing gear systems are just a few things he worked on
Bill was attached to the USS Forrestal and 4 other aircraft carriers for 7 deployments, from the removal of Noriega from Panama, both Gulf Wars, the conflict in Kosovo, and 4 deployments to the Persian Gulf for Afghanistan
Bill was an instructor in Chicago and then Maintenance Crew for the Blue Angels in 2001 to 2004
Bill grew up listening to KSHE and likes the constant rock music the station plays
Bill’s wife Gwen is a LPN nurse (substitute) at Milstadt Schools. They got married in 1991 and she has been by his side throughout his Navy career and present
Bill’s daughter and son are both married and he currently has 2 grandsons and 2 granddaughters
