Name: Bert Langford
From: St. Charles, MO
Works at: Retired – Now works on his website OurGenerationUSA.com
About Bert:
Bert started listening to KSHE in 1972 when he relocated to Maryland Heights from Chicago and met his future wife, Ev.
Bert eventually moved away from St. Louis, going to California and then New Jersey, but returned to the area after Ev’s passing in 2008. The move back allowed him to once again enjoy his favorite radio station, KSHE!
At 74 years old, Bert finds KSHE music to be a real motivator, and he listens while on his computer some 6+ hours a day building his website. He loves the continuous hits, with a few new surprises each day!
While in California, Bert took up sailing and enjoyed sailing the Channel Islands and even the British Virgin Islands!
Due to a family history of heart disease, Bert started exercising on his 17th birthday and hasn’t let up! He’s a regular at Planet Fitness at Mid-Rivers Mall!
KSHE songs that get Bert through the day:
Led Zeppelin – Stairway To Heaven – Kashmir; Jefferson Airplane – White Rabbit; White Stripes – Seven Nation Army; U2 – With Or Without You; Nirvana – Heart Shaped Box; Phil Collins – In The Air Tonight; AC/DC – Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap; Neil Young – Heart Of Gold; Eagles – Hotel California; Don Henley – Dirty Laundry; The Cars – You Might Think; Moody Blues – Nights In White Satin (Bert’s favorite song, as it was his and his wife’s song)
Congratulations to Bert Langford from St. Charles, MO, our “Listener of the Day”!
