Alan grew up in Whittier, California and joined the U.S. Air Force after graduating from High School in 1974. Thanks to the military, he was able to travel the world living in the Philippines, Japan, Holland and Germany
Alan’s last assignment was at Gunter AFB in Montgomery, Alabama and he retired there in 1994
Alan lived in Montgomery until May 2011, when he moved to Meta, Missouri. He moved to Washington, Missouri in June 2012 after meeting his future wife, Des
Alan got married on January 5, 2018 and they have 6 children (he has 3 girls and she has 3 boys), 16 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter
Alan was a Certified Personal Trainer and Club Manager at Snap Fitness in Wright City, Washington and Pacific before retiring from the workforce in 2018
Alan now enjoys sending time with Des, attending their grandchildren’s sporting events, working on crafts and riding his Harley Davidson Electra Glide Classic
Alan’s car radio button number 1 is pre-set to KSHE along with the receiver in his house and his Harley
