Mark Glenn

Name: Washington University Chief of Police Mark Glenn

From: Barnhart, MO

Proudly served in the: U.S. Army Military Police (Korea and Fort Leavenworth), Washington University Chief of Police (Current)

About Mark:

My name is Dave Dunn and I am nominating Mark Glenn as Hero of the Day because he has served and continues to serve our country admirably on a daily basis. He is a good husband to Tammy and a good father to his 3 daughters Alicia, Kaitlyn and Tori. He has always been a great friend and he is always there when you need him without fail. He is currently the Chief of Police at Washington University and helps serve a vital role in the city of St. Louis. Thank you Mark for being my good friend.

Rock N’ Roll Hero: Bob Seger

Favorite Budweiser Moment: Mark’s favorite Budweiser moment was the night before he got married. Many of his Army buddies were coming in from out of town. There was a bachelor party, poker and Budweiser night that never seemed to end. Just when he thought it was bed time, another buddy would arrive and they all woke up and had a few more beers together. He may or may not have still been feeling this Budweiser moment at the alter!

KSHE songs that get Mark through the day:

Rock and Roll All Nite – KISS, Free Fallin’ – Tom Petty, Legs – ZZ Top, One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer – George Thorogood, Turn the Page – Bob Seger, I Can’t Drive 55 – Sammy Hagar, Back in Black – AC/DC, Runnin’ with the Devil – Van Halen, Another Brick in the Wall Part 2 – Pink Floyd, Shoot to Thrill – AC/DC
