Harry Anson

Name: Master Sgt. Harry Anson

From: Collinsville, IL

Proudly served in the: Master Sgt. U.S. Air Force for 27 years. He still works for the Air Force at Scott Air Force Base, for the last 10 years, as a Training Analysis for A3Y Exercises, Headquarters AMC (Air Mobility Command)

About Harry:

Not only did my husband serve his country and live in other countries while serving, he was a single dad to two boys Justin and Logan until we married 14 years ago. So not only did he fulfill his duties while serving, he was a full time dad, cook, house maid, homework tutor, helped with school activities and sporting events. He never missed a beat on the job or at home. One of the reasons I fell in love with him, was seeing what a wonderful dad and role model he was to his boys. He is honest, caring and respectful and loves his country. He is an outstanding citizen and neighbor. He is our hero. Did I mention he listens to K-SHE in his truck every day to and from work and has the neighborhood rocking while he is working in the yard!

Rock N’ Roll Hero: Sammy Hagar
