The Real Rock Army salutes today’s Healthcare Hero … Kristi Crow from Trenton, IL!
Kristi has been a nurse for 15 years and has worked in various hospital settings. She is currently employed as an RN First Assist in surgery at Anderson Hospital
Kristi says even since elective surgeries have been cancelled, she has been available to her hospital when short staffed in other areas of the hospital. She also signed up for COVID-19 Statewide Responders, which is a team of Illinois healthcare workers that can be deployed in the event that a hospital or city’s healthcare capabilities are overwhelmed
Kristi volunteers at a children’s cancer support charity called ‘His Kids’ out of Highland IL. She donates her time through out the year helping around the office and is hoping to go to their week long summer camp in July as an RN counselor … if it doesn’t get cancelled

Kristi says KSHE plays the kind of music she loves
Kristi is a married mother of two boys, ages 3 and 5. She loves spending time with her family and taking as many vacations as possible a year. This year they were scheduled to go to Memphis, Rapid City, South Dakota and Holland, Michigan … that is if COVID-19 doesn’t mess it up
Kristi enjoys hiking in Southern Illinois and mountain biking at various places in Illinois, Indiana and Missouri
Kristi is an avid concert goer. She is happy that she got to see Tom Petty here in 2017. She has recently seen Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band, The Who, Nick Mason’s Saucerful of Secrets and El Monstero … just to name a few. They also had tickets to see The Rolling Stones and Graham Nash and she can’t wait to see them when they get rescheduled
