Pyromania was the third studio album by Def Leppard, released on January 20, 1983. Produced by Robert John “Mutt” Lange, Pyromania was the first album to feature guitarist Phil Collen who replaced founding member Pete Willis. The album was a shift away from the band’s heavy metal roots towards more radio-friendly glam rock and hard rock, finding massive mainstream success. Pyromania charted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, No. 4 on the Canadian RPM Album chart and No. 18 on the U.K. Albums Chart.
