Congratulations! Thanks for all the great music and even better memories! And thank the Lord for you and the KSHE Klassic Show! You are a breath of fresh air in a stagnant atmosphere of the same-ol’-same –ol’! Drnjevic, Francis

U-Man, Congrats on your 35th Anniversary with KSHE. The KSHE Classics is the best radio show on air-bar none. I live in Arkansas now and listen to it streamed in. Growing up with you as the Cardinals announcer and "Radio Man" has been a great experience for me. I wish you nothing but the best in your years to come. Thanks, David Shade, Bentonville, AR "Real Rock Radio" forever.

John, I wish you every joy and happiness on your anniversary at KSHE. To hear you on air is nothing short of listening to Jak Buck announce a Cardinal game. Well U-man, has been a pleasure over the years.... started listening to KShe at the start on my small transister radio... still remember that.... . so I am an old Rock and Roller.... and enjoyed when you started... and enjoyed all thru the years. and the anouncing at the Cardinals games... etc. And after 30 years... finally got the Harley of my dreams..... so I am happy. I grew up in Staunton, IL but had to move for my job in 1993 to Kentucky.... Country Music heaven... so that killed me. But as you know, Kshe started streaming on internet a while ago, and I was back in R&R heaven.... and have been enjoying every since.... back in IL, I always had KSHE on. and now, I have internet in my garage and is same... good feeling especially Sunday mornings with the Klassics.... Thanks for all the years U-Man... quite an accomplishment...and wishing you many, many more..Take care.... Felch, Dennis Felchner

Way to go, John….I’ve listened to KSHE since Day 1 and have enjoyed your time on the air since you signed on . I still think you were robbed on that air raid alert deal – I thought it funny as well as understood the statement you were making. Kim Mangan

This Bud’s for you, brother….

Nothing more needs to be said than this - you were the first voice I remember hearing on rock radio anywhere right on KSHE in the early days and been listening to that same voice along with the other great voices of KSHE ever since. To call the U-Man a legend isn’t right because the words U-Man are more legendary than the word legend itself. Congrats on 35 years of radio and thanks for making me feel so freaking old! Robert, Catawissa, MO

Happy Anniversary Baby…got you on my mind! Love this pic of John and I serenading each during the KSHE Klassics Show at the Alton Belle. Neither of us could sing a note but we sure looked good trying! Wishing you many more U-Man!, XXOO, KC

Hey U-Man – I’ve been listening to you for 35 years!!! And you’re still my favorite! I love your professionalism and the little wisdoms you speak on the radio. I also LOVE the KSHE classics program you do every Sunday morning. That program is my favorite KSHE program – it brings back so many great memories! I also am a huge Cardinal baseball fan – and even work at the stadium part time – and I love to hear your voice on the PA – welcoming the fans to Baseball Heaven. Keep up the good work – you should be proud of your career in radio and with the Cardinals. U-Man – you are a KSHE classic! Thanks for all the memories! Joydean Beatty, Very long time KSHE listener

I love U-Man, because he eats grapes, raisins, banana chips and other gross junk out of a Tupperware bowl everyday. It’s hilarious to watch. Weirdo. J, Marty Linck

U-MAN , this is a picture of my son Brendan Block and U at TAN-TAR-A in 2006. My son was at the DECA finals for Missouri and he was talking to your daughter Olivia at the pool . You saw him from across the pool and he said you walked straight towards him with a mad look. He thought you were a friend of mine and then realized, that is the U-MAN. He told you my dad listens to you all the time on K-SHE Classics and stuck out his hand. He said you had a good time talking about K-SHE and the Cardinals. He had his picture taken with you and since then, we have seen you many times at the swim meets in west county, since my daughter also swims. My son said he was glad he remembered who you were cause he thought he was going to be in deep trouble for talking to your daughter. Happy 35th and Keep on rocking in the free world on K-SHE. All the best, Tom Block

U-Man, I, much like you, grew up with KSHE. I've listened to the station almost from the beginning and have not found another station that over the years has pretty much stayed true to its roots. I try to listen the the Klassics show every chance I get as it brings back many memories for me. I hope you keep the show alive as it is essential to any "old" rocker and a lesson in history for the younger listeners. Thanks for the many years you've given us. Sharing stories on air about some of the artists and the music we've come to love. Rock on dude. Ken Wagner, Blazing Color Inc., Chester, IL
