John Ulett is a St. Louis on-air institution. The "U-Man" has been on-air at KSHE for over 35 years. Ulett hosts mornings on KSHE, as well as the popular KSHE Klassics show on Sunday mornings from 8am-noon. In case you were wondering whether this leaves John any spare time, consider that he is also the Public Address Announcer for the St. Louis Cardinals and is also a frequent host of many community events. All of this makes his voice one of St. Louis' most recognized. In his leisure time, John enjoys spending time with his kids and playing golf.

Come on, really. A professional, highly paid, very accomplished singer, can't sing the National Anthem live!! That's crazy. If you sign up to sing a National Anthem sing it live. In all my years as the stadium announcer at Busch Stadium, NO ONE, has ever lip synced the National Anthem. If Beyonce' faked it at the Inaguration Ceremony....she should be embarrased. She probably is. I didn't know this, but in 1991 before the Superbowl, Whitney Houston lipsynced the National Anthem that is considered the best ever LIVE Anthem.....oopps. So much for that designation. For 22 years we were fooled an that one. Not that this is a big deal but I'm just amazed how amatured are fearless and venture into to sing National Anthems all the time and never bother to even think about lip syncing but these professionals can't hack it. Just a thought. John
