John Ulett is a St. Louis on-air institution. The "U-Man" has been on-air at KSHE for over 35 years. Ulett hosts mornings on KSHE, as well as the popular KSHE Klassics show on Sunday mornings from 8am-noon. In case you were wondering whether this leaves John any spare time, consider that he is also the Public Address Announcer for the St. Louis Cardinals and is also a frequent host of many community events. All of this makes his voice one of St. Louis' most recognized. In his leisure time, John enjoys spending time with his kids and playing golf.

The St. Louis living legend talks to Rolling Stone in advance of his award ceremony at the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame this past weekend. It's kind of a sad article as Chuck lament's his health. He refer's to his loss of hearing in the article and I kind of humerously became exposed to that on the field at Busch Stadium last season. I asked him for a picture and his response was, inquisitively......piece of paper! I've been laughing about the thought of that verbal exchange since it happened. I'm not making fun of Chuck, I'm saying it was a funny moment coming from a cute old guy who happens to be a living legend. Anyway, here's the article. John
