John Ulett is a St. Louis on-air institution. The "U-Man" has been on-air at KSHE for over 35 years. Ulett hosts mornings on KSHE, as well as the popular KSHE Klassics show on Sunday mornings from 8am-noon. In case you were wondering whether this leaves John any spare time, consider that he is also the Public Address Announcer for the St. Louis Cardinals and is also a frequent host of many community events. All of this makes his voice one of St. Louis' most recognized. In his leisure time, John enjoys spending time with his kids and playing golf.

Since Lern is on vacation I went to the phone lines to get someone to rate the 6am Kshe Klassic and the first caller was Scott Barnes who is an iron worker building a new Imax Theatre in Grand Center. I had no idea something like that was under contruction in that area. He said you'll be able to enjoy everything from popcorn to a full steak dinner while your watching a movie when it opens in a few months. But anyway, back to the Klassic. He gave "Alexis" by James Gang a 7 out of ten. He said the song starts too slowly and stays slow for too long before it gets going and in the morning he likes songs that give him a good kick in the butt.
