KSHE 95 will hold a contest for the chance for your band to be crowned the KSHE 95 Harrah's Voodoo Lounge Battle of the Bands Champion.

The champion band wins the chance to play a KSHE concert at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in 2009, $1,000 for new gear, studio time at Trailer Studios, tickets for the concert and more. Local bands will submit their music to Favazz at KSHE 95. We will pick 3 to 4 bands to play at the monthly battle at Harrah’s Voodoo Lounge on the first Friday of the month. The winner from each month will be invited back to the finals where one band will be crowned the Champion.

Band must be residents of Missouri or Illinois and must submit their own original music - no more than 3 total songs. If picked to battle, band will be notified at least one week prior to event. Entires must be received one week before each monthly event. Final entry deadline is June 19th, 2009. Schedule may fill up prior to deadline. Battles are on first Friday of the month at Harrah's Voodoo Lounge. Mail or drop off CD ONLY with band bio to:

- Winning band will get to perform at a KSHE Concert in 2009 at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater.

- Winning band will receive $1,000 for new gear.

- Winning band will get to produce a 3 song EP at Trailer Studios.

- Winning band will be featured on KSHE95.com the week of the concert with a band bio, photos, downloads of music and a link to band web site.

- Winning band will be a guest for a live on-air performance and interview on KSHE 95 with Favazz.

- Winning band will receive 100 tickets for the concert to pass out to family, friends and fans.

- Winning band will be included on back of 10,000 concert programs. Half of back program will feature a “Congratulations” message to the band that will include band photo and band website link.
