Out now is Buckcherry's new album, Confessions, the band's sixth studio effort and its first since 2010's All Night Long. The disc a loose concept album that revolves around the notion of the seven deadly sins, while the lyrics were inspired by events in singer Josh Todd's childhood. Todd told us why the seven sins made a good framework for the record: "Well, I've struggled with moderation my whole life, you know, so the sins have been prevalent in my life as far back as I can remember. So it's something that I'm always struggling with, and I think everybody does to some degree at some point. That's why they're unique and timeless and I think a lot of people can relate to them."
Todd has also written the script for a short film that will act as a companion piece to Confessions, with the band hoping to shoot the movie later this year.
The first single from the album is called "Gluttony."
Buckcherry are currently out as special guests of Kid Rock on his Rebel Soul tour, which stops on Wednesday (February 20th) in Pensacola, Florida.
The band will also play three hometown shows on March 7th, 8th and 9th at the Viper Room in Los Angeles.
