Green Day appeared on ABC-TV's Good Morning America on Friday (September 14th), performing two songs from their catalog alongside two new tracks from their upcoming album Uno!. The new tracks were current single "Oh, Love" and "Stay The Night," while the chestnuts were "Holiday" and "Basket Case."
The once-punk trio is in full promotional mode for Uno!, which arrives on September 25th. The disc is the first of three new sets of music from the group, with Dos! coming out on November 13th and Tre! landing on January 15th.
Green Day will headline New Orleans' Voodoo Experience next month, and will then head out on a major North American tour beginning on November 26th in Seattle, with dates also booked in December, January and February.
Meanwhile, Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong pulled no punches when asked by Kerrang! magazine about the best and worst bands that Green Day has ever played with.
Armstrong replied, 'The best (band we've shared a stage with) is probably the Hives, they're a great live band. (As for the worst), oh boy, I have to go with Bon Jovi."
