Nirvana bassist says Rock Hall induction 'conjured spirit' of band
Nirvana bassist Krist Novoselic has commented in a new blog post on the events last week surrounding the band's induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, which included a three-song performance at the ceremony itself and a secret show later that evening at a bar in Brooklyn. Mick Jones and Lou Gramm eying new Foreigner music for 2015
Mick Jones revealed that the first new songs by him and co-founding Foreigner frontman Lou Gramm in 20 years might hit the public next year. Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer outraged by torture report
Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith says that he is "sickened" by a report that the band's music was used by the CIA during torture sessions with inmates at the U.S. government's Guantanamo Bay holding facility. 3 Doors Down maps out acoustic tour
3 Doors Down has mapped out a summer tour that will feature mostly acoustic shows mixed in with electric performances. The Songs From The Basement trek will begin on June 3rd in British Columbia, with dates booked well into mid-September. Surviving Nirvana members play secret post-induction show
The surviving members of Nirvana played a surprise concert at a small bar called St. Vitus in Brooklyn late Thursday night (April 10th), following the band's induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Gregg Allman says the Allman Brothers Band not breaking up
Well, it seems that the Allman Brothers Band may not be breaking up after all. Gregg Allman, whose recent bout with bronchitis forced the band to cancel its final shows of their "March Madness" run at New York City's Beacon Theater, revealed to Radio.com: "As for the rumor of the brothers breaking up after 45 years, in other words, after this year. Will Paul McCartney pass on closing Candlestick Park?
