2013 is officially half way over and according to Pollstar, Bon Jovi has been having an excellent year. Even without Richie Sambora, the group has grossed over $142.1 million from 60 shows with an average of 25,000 fans at an average ticket price of $95.60. Number Two on the list was Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band with earnings of $103.9 million and rounding out the Top Three was the Rolling Stones with $87.7 million.
The Stones making the Top Three was quite an accomplishment considering the group only played 18 shows but their average ticket price was $346.09 so they made approximately $8 million a show.
Fleetwood Mac cracked the Top Ten as they grabbed the Number Nine slot with $58.1 million. Paul McCartney also had a strong showing at Number 16 with $43.1 million. Elton John just missed the Top Twenty at Number 21 with $30.7 million.
