Pre-sale tickets will go on sale tomorrow (Friday, January 4th) via American Express for the Allman Brothers Band's latest "March Madness" run at New York City's Beacon Theater. As it stands now, the band will play 10 nights between March 1st and 16th -- with more shows expected to be added should the initial dates sell out.

The Allmans' Beacon dates are: March 1st, 2nd, 5th, 6th, 8th, 9th, 12th, 13th, 15th, and 16th.

Gregg Allman says that simply put, the Beacon is the Allmans' home away from home: "This place is, I've learned so much here, and have had so many good times here -- some of 'em were kind of rough, but most of 'em were just fine, just wonderful. And this means a lot to the Brothers, because we love this place, I'm sure, as many other musicians do, also."

In addition to the "March Madness" Manhattan dates, the Allmans will perform on April 12th and 13th in New York City at Crossroads Guitar Festival at Madison Square Garden.

After that, the band will play on April 19th and 20th at Live Oak, Florida's Spirit Of The Suwannee Music Park.
