Hey, rockers, ever had to cancel a gig? It’s never fun, but even Slash has to do it once in a while. The Les Paul-slinging guitar guru postponed his concert scheduled for last night (Oct. 3) in Los Angeles due to singer Myles Kennedy being under the weather. Slash is currently on tour with Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators to promote his latest full-length, Apocalyptic Love.
The gig, set to take place at the Wiltern, is rescheduled for Dec. 2.
“We want to be 100% for this gig and we’re just not at this moment,” Slash said in an official statement. “We’ll be back December 2nd in fighting form. See you then!”
“My apologies to everyone who was planning on coming out to the show tonight,” stated Kennedy. “I promise to make it up to you when we return in a few months.”
All tickets for the Oct. 3 concert will be good for the Dec. 2 show, but fans that can’t make the later date will be able to get a full refund at the point of purchase.
