Friday, May 31st, 2013 - the day I finally got to be in the same room as the Rolling Stones.
This may not seem like a big deal, but I highly believe that this "50 & Counting Tour" will be their last, and rightfully so. When the closest date to St Louis was announced in Chicago, I called my mom (the biggest Stones fan in my life) and told her we are going - no matter how much it cost. It costed a pretty penny, but it was totally worth it. I don't miss my money for the experience I had.
The 22 song-set was rich with top hits, and a special cameo of Mick Taylor and Sheryl Crow. I was beyond impressed with every moment and Mick Jaggers moves, Keith Richards' swagger, Ronnie Wood's adorable playing, and Charlie Watts' stamina on the drums. I wanted to be on stage with them all the same way most girls felt when they first came out to play. It was the best.
