Tonight Dave Grohl is releasing his highly anticipated documentary on the Van Nuys, CA studio "Sound City." For a one night only, one showtime tonight at the Tivoli I will be among so many other music fans sitting in the old ass chairs and being engulfed by this film. (Actually, as I type this I just found out my favorite, Radio Rich might not be coming tonight....I was hoping to sit next to him....well crap.) okay side note....anyway, I have been following the production process of this film and it comes highly regarded in the sense of a directoral debut, and for historic charm for a studio many of us have heard in the albums we own, but maybe not understood where the original magic happened. I am beyond excited!
