Gun – check, ammo – check, tags – check, flask – check.  Randall’s Wine & Spirits will join us once again this time to help us out with ideas for filling the all important hunting buddy.  They are a great store with a huge selection of wine, spirits and beer and all at great prices.  We’ll talk with Randall’s about their selection and what to look for when shopping for your next hunt.

Okay before you can go to work trying the tips you learned from the Food Dudes you need to get that meat processed and the gang at G&W Sausage at 4828 Parker Avenue will take care of you.  Plus they don’t mix your meat with others like some places.  What you bring in is what you will take home.  They’ll join us and tell us all about their operation.

The Food Dudes are very proud to announce our first item on a local restaurant menu at The Red Lion at 7336 Manchester Road in Maplewood.  Stop in and try the Food Dudes Sandwich platter for $9.95 featuring The Favazz – ground salcissa with fresh mozzarella and carmelized onions, The Boozie – marinated chicken breast with Mediterranean salsa, roasted pepper hummos and feta cheese and The Sweetmeat – hickory smoked pork shoulder, ham, hot pickles cayenne seasoning and homey mustard.

Favazz and Boozie have a new show on KSHE about food – the KSHE Food Dudes presented by L’Ecole Culinaire.

This isn’t your mom’s cooking show, its food the Real Rock Radio way. Each month we’ll cover a different topic like what to do for your Superbowl party or how to impress your lady on date night. We’ll do a show on beer and of course there will be a feature on the king of all male cooking appliances, the barbeque grill. We’ll talk about cooking at home as well as where to go around town for great food.

Each month we’ll be joined by guests from L’Ecole Culinaire culinary school, local restaurants and other food and beverage related businesses to talk about the monthly topic, answer questions, even cook a little food and yes we’ll still play music.

Each month there will also be features right here on the Food Dudes web page about the monthly topic. There will be tips, recipes, videos from our sponsors and a blog so you can get in on the action. You can share some of your own Food Dude knowledge, post your secret sauce ingredients, ask a question or even suggest a future topic.

Start right now and click HERE to send us a message. What do you like to cook? What do you want to hear of Food Dudes?
