ALLEGED RYAN SEACREST STALKER PLEADS NOT GUILTY

11/4/2009

Ryan Seacrest's alleged stalker pled guilty on Tuesday (November 3rd) to one charge of felony stalking and two misdemeanor charges of disobeying a court order. TMZ.com reports that the judge also granted a protective order for Seacrest, which states that Chidi Uzomah must stay 500 yards away from the popular media personality.

Uzomah's bail was set at $150,000 and he was ordered back to court on November 16th.

Uzomah pled guilty to three misdemeanors in September after attacking a member of Seacrest's security team and was still on probation last week when he was arrested at the E! building where Seacrest works.

Meanwhile, it's been revealed that the 25-year-old is a sergeant with the Army Reserves, leading spokesman Lt. Col. Nathan Banks to apologize on the Army's behalf. Banks told TMZ.com, "We apologize to Ryan Seacrest. Pending the outcome of the local investigation, the Army will decide what further action to take. We take all matters of our personnel seriously."
